Beginning his career in 2011 at a design agency in Seoul, Jaewan Park has spent over a decade leading global design consultancies, with key tenures at HP Singapore and renowned design studios in the UK. Operating across diverse industries and product categories, he has refined his practice by navigating various cultural and business landscapes.
Through this journey, he established a core belief: design is not merely a visual outcome, but a structured process of defining the essence of a problem and solving it. He has built a sharp capability for analyzing complex contexts, aligning priorities under conflicting constraints, and maintaining a clear, consistent direction through every challenge.

2011년 서울 소재의 글로벌 디자인 에이전시에서 첫 커리어를 시작으로, 싱가포르 HP와 영국의 디자인 스튜디오를 거치며 10년 넘게 글로벌 무대에서 디자인 컨설팅을 수행해 왔다. 국경과 문화의 경계를 넘어 다양한 산업군과 제품 영역을 경험하며 실무의 깊이를 더해왔다.
이 과정에서 디자인이란 단순히 시각적인 결과물을 만드는 일이 아닌, 문제의 본질을 정의하고 이를 구조적으로 해결해 나가는 일련의 과정이라는 기준을 세웠다. 복잡하고 상충되는 요구 속에서도 정확하게 맥락을 분석하고 우선순위를 설정하며, 어떤 상황에서도 흔들리지 않는 최적의 해법을 찾아내는 역량을 단단히 다져왔다.
오늘도 더 명확하고 설득력 있는 결과물을 위해 디자인에 대한 탐구를 이어가고 있다. 축적된 경험을 바탕으로 프로젝트의 규모나 분야에 갇히지 않고, 클라이언트의 니즈를 정확히 간파하여 지속 가능한 전략과 방향을 함께 설계하는 신뢰할 수 있는 파트너로 존재하고자 노력하고 있다.

Jaewan Park Design operates as a solo studio by deliberate design. By eliminating the heavy overhead and administrative layers of a traditional agency, the studio significantly reduces client costs while driving projects forward with direct, friction-free communication. Because the director personally leads every phase—from strategic direction to final hand-off—every project benefits from undivided focus and uncompromised quality.
However, lean does not mean limited. Depending on the project’s scale and complexity, the studio seamlessly forms agile, tailored squads with a trusted global network of design collaborators. Furthermore, through close partnerships with specialized mechanical engineers, creative concepts are meticulously optimized for mass production without losing their original design integrity.
Focused and dedicated when independent, scalable and limitless when needed. This fluid agility defines the studio's approach to delivering exceptional, real-world value.
Jaewan Park Design이 1인 디자인 스튜디오 체제를 유지하는 이유는 명확하다. 비대하고 관성적인 조직의 불필요한 운영비와 인건비를 걷어내어 클라이언트의 비용 부담을 실질적으로 낮추고, 군더더기 없는 다이렉트 소통을 통해 프로젝트에 압도적인 속도감을 더하기 위함이다. 초기 방향성 설정부터 최종 인도에 이르는 모든 과정을 디렉터가 직접 책임지고 조율하기에, 타협 없는 일관된 퀄리티를 유지한다.
그러나 콤팩트한 규모가 역량의 한계를 의미하지는 않는다. 프로젝트의 규모와 클라이언트의 니즈에 따라 오랜 시간 호흡을 맞춰온 국내외 동료 디자이너 및 디자인 스튜디오와 유연한 스쿼(Squad)를 구성하여 대응한다. 나아가 신뢰할 수 있는 전문 기구설계 파트너와의 긴밀한 협업을 통해, 독창적인 아이디어가 기술적 제약에 부딪히지 않고 완벽한 양산 제품으로 구현되도록 최적화 작업까지 매끄럽게 지원한다.
