Prototyping
No matter how brilliant a concept is on screen, it means nothing if it cannot function in the real world. Prototyping is the ultimate reality check—a critical process that turns assumptions into validated solutions while minimizing the costly risks of mass production.
Driven by years of hands-on experience, I leverage rapid prototyping, such as speed foams and 3D printing, in the early stages to swiftly test ergonomics, proportions, and usability. This agile approach filters out potential flaws early on, keeping the project on a secure and efficient track.
As the design matures, I collaborate with highly specialized mockup partners to develop high-fidelity visual and working prototypes that closely mimic the final production materials and mechanics. From the initial sketch to the factory floor, I support the entire journey—ensuring your design intent is fully realized and ready for seamless manufacturing.

아무리 멋진 디자인 콘셉트라도 현실에서 제대로 작동하지 못하면 결국 미완의 스케치에 불과합니다. 디자인 프로세스에서 프로토타이핑은 가설을 확신으로 바꾸고, 양산 단계에서 발생할 수 있는 잠재적 리스크와 비용을 최소화하는 가장 확실한 장치입니다.
오랜 실무 경험을 바탕으로, 프로젝트 초기에는 스피드폼과 3D 프린팅을 적극 활용해 사용성과 비례, 인체공학적 요소를 신속하게 검증합니다. 빠른 호흡으로 불필요한 시행착오를 걷어내고 디자인의 큰 뼈대를 안정적으로 세우기 위함입니다.
이후 구체화 단계에서는 정교한 기술력을 갖춘 전문 목업 파트너들과 긴밀히 협력하여, 실제 양산품 수준의 소재와 마감이 반영된 고해상도 비주얼 목업 및 워킹 목업을 제작합니다. 콘셉트 스케치에서 출발해 공장 라인에 올라타기까지, 디자인 의도가 왜곡 없이 실현될 수 있도록 전 과정에서 밀착 서포트합니다.
Production Supervision
Having taken numerous products from the drafting table all the way to final mass production, I know that aesthetic polish and manufacturing feasibility must go hand in hand. By factoring in technical parameters and production constraints from day one, I eliminate unnecessary trial and error, keeping the entire development process stable and predictable.
My role doesn't end at the rendering stage. Backed by a trusted network of mechanical designers and engineering partners, I actively coordinate engineering adjustments, oversee manufacturing processes, and provide hands-on production support.
I bridge the gap between design intent and engineering reality, ensuring that the original vision is never diluted on its way to becoming a physical product. By seamlessly connecting every dot from concept to mass production, I serve as a reliable guide—helping you make clear, confident, and highly rational decisions at every step of the journey.
수많은 제품을 디자인하고 실제 양산 단계까지 직접 발로 뛰며 실현해 본 실무 경험이 있기에, 미적 완성도와 실제 구현 가능성은 결코 분리될 수 없음을 잘 알고 있습니다. 초기 콘셉트 단계부터 최종 생산 환경과 기술적 조건을 미리 계산해 넣는 이유도 바로 이 때문입니다. 이를 통해 불필요한 시행착오를 차단하고 개발 전반의 흐름을 안정적으로 이끕니다.
