A 2L vacuum water jug design project for the contemporary lifestyle brand Pilmoa. The existing product language was characterized by bold geometries and a metallic, industrial presence. This project sought to retain that structural strength while refining its visual weight and surface expression. Named “Tanker,” the form is built around a grounded, compact silhouette with a low center of gravity. Broad planes and controlled edges create a sense of mass, while carefully softened transitions prevent the volume from feeling overly aggressive. The balance between tension and restraint defines the jug’s character—solid, yet composed.
A wooden handle introduces material contrast and tactile warmth against the cool, robust body. Rather than functioning as mere ornament, the handle becomes a focal element, emphasizing grip ergonomics while adding a subtle layer of craftsmanship. Pilmoa’s signature decagonal motif has been reinterpreted with sharper precision and applied to the lid as a restrained graphic relief. Integrated seamlessly into the geometry, it acts as both a visual anchor and a quiet brand signature, reinforcing continuity while elevating the overall finish.
