'Cleft' transcends the boundaries of traditional consumer electronics, redefining the display as a piece of premium furniture. It is designed with a singular, uncompromising philosophy: a television should not become a vacant, black void when powered off. Instead, it must exist as a captivating interior object—a sculptural centerpiece that commands presence and naturally elevates the aesthetic of any curated living space.
The Silhouette: A Cylinder Driven by a Wedge
The core design language centers around a striking, powerful gesture—a solid, minimalist cylindrical bar that is visibly driven and split by a bold, structural wedge. This explicit interlocking mechanism forms the organic foundation of the integrated floor stand. By transforming a raw physical force into an elegant design language, the wedge beautifully cleaves the base, creating an architectural silhouette that is entirely devoid of unnecessary clutter, yet brims with a distinct, undeniable character.
A Feast of Materiality and Visual Wit
This is a masterclass in high-end minimalism and visual wit.
