This electronic dictionary was designed for iriver with a clear focus on usability, while faithfully preserving the brand’s pure and minimalist design language. Beyond its primary function as a dictionary, the device integrates multiple features—including an MP3 player, e-book reader, and FM radio—into a single, cohesive product. Rather than emphasizing feature density, the design prioritizes intuitive access and everyday convenience. To enhance usability, a small auxiliary LCD window and dedicated side buttons were introduced on the exterior, allowing users to control MP3 playback even when the dictionary is closed. This approach transforms the device from a task-specific tool into a versatile personal companion, balancing functional richness with visual restraint.
