Designed for PILMOA, this project introduces an outdoor-centric thermal vessel that reimagines the traditional camping mug through the lens of modularity and space efficiency. Recognizing that the camping ritual is as much about gear organization as it is about the environment, we developed a mug that prioritizes vertical stackability and multi-functional use without sacrificing PILMOA’s signature thermal performance.

The silhouette is characterized by a low-profile, wide-aperture proportion—a deliberate departure from tall, narrow drinkware. This specific geometry allows the mug to transcend its primary function; it serves equally well as a beverage vessel or a rugged serving bowl for campsite meals. To address the critical need for spatial economy, we engineered a collapsible handle system inspired by the classic Sierra cup. When folded, the handle contours perfectly to the body, minimizing the overall footprint and allowing multiple units to be stacked securely—a vital feature for lightweight trekking and organized storage.

The visual identity is a direct extension of PILMOA’s most successful design language. We integrated the signature decagonal '10-sided' pattern to create a sense of visual continuity with the brand's best-selling beer vessels. This structural patterning provides more than just brand recognition; it offers a solid, tactile grip and reinforces the "tough and enduring" character required for the outdoors. The result is a design that feels "solid and cute"—a compact powerhouse that looks as though it was carved from a single block of industrial material.

Understanding the "color-matching" culture prevalent among modern campers, the product is offered in a meticulously curated range of high-demand tones. The selection includes Original Metal, Deep Black, Tactical Khaki, and Desert Sand. This palette ensures that the mugs integrate seamlessly into any existing gear set, allowing users to maintain a professional, coordinated aesthetic within their campsite environment.
