Soju holds a unique emotional and cultural significance in Korea, and the specific volume required for a "one-shot" experience is a ritualistic detail that cannot be overlooked. While the outdoor market is saturated with small stainless steel cups, most are sized for Western spirits or lack the refined proportions of a traditional soju glass. Following the immense success of the 'Hammer' beer vessel, PILMOA—a brand built on vacuum insulation mastery—sought to create the definitive outdoor soju set that honors this specific cultural nuance.

The core of this project was the pursuit of the perfect 50ml capacity. We meticulously tuned the proportions to ensure a comfortable grip and a visually pleasing silhouette, even at such a micro-scale. To solidify its identity, we integrated PILMOA’s signature 10-sided (decagonal) pattern. Applying this complex geometry to such a small surface area initially presented significant manufacturing challenges and high defect rates. However, through persistent collaboration with our production team, we refined the stamping process to achieve a flawless, high-definition finish that meets professional standards.

For the cups themselves, we opted for a single-wall metal construction. This choice was a strategic balance of weight, cost, and functionality; by removing the vacuum layer from the cups, we achieved a lightweight profile that allows four units to be stacked seamlessly. This modular stack minimizes volume, allowing the entire set to disappear into the portable case during transit.

The true ingenuity lies in the carry case. Instead of a standard container, we engineered a vacuum-insulated housing that mirrors the iconic form of our 2000ml Water Jug. This "miniature" aesthetic provides an instant visual connection for existing PILMOA users, creating a cohesive and collectible brand ecosystem.

Beyond its role as a protector, the case is a functional vessel in its own right. When the cups are in use, the case doubles as a compact vacuum-insulated tumbler, offering thermal protection for alternative spirits or small beverages.

While a specialized soju set may not be a survival essential, it is a quintessential "lifestyle" item. By combining the serene proportions of traditional culture with the rugged, miniature DNA of our flagship products, we have created an object that resonates with the passion of both campers and soju enthusiasts alike.
