By 2030, the UN predicts a 40% global water deficit. With their revolutionary shower technology, Kelda is well placed to deliver impact. To support them in their mission, we created a design language to speak to the needs of new markets.

Kelda’s patented Triple-E technology delivers a shower experience that blends sophisticated fluid dynamics and pumped air to halve the water consumption of a conventional shower without sacrificing spray force. Until this point, their primary audience comprised engineering rigs, councils and facilities managers.

Our role was to create clean-tech products that would spark conversations with new customers. Equally, Kelda leant on our expertise to de-risk the manufacturing process, allowing them to launch four ground-up products in a very ambitious timeline. Together with the Kelda team, we arrived at a design approach that reflected the brand’s Nordic roots. Together with their in-house engineering team, we designed and detailed each product for manufacture, going beyond to source suitable vendors who could deliver the product vision to market. The unobtrusive, modernist design language with its elegant form proved extremely popular. Not only did their new range of eco-showers complement the beautiful bathrooms of hospitality customers, they also met the strict water reduction targets.

From creative strategy and design language definition through to conceptualization, refinement, pre-sales assets and DFM, we proudly helped Kelda paint a picture of luxury and sophistication to push them into new markets.
